front tire cliking
ok, as i drive i can hear my front driver side tire clicking. I changed the tires from front to back just to see if it was the lugnuts or some paper stuck but no my luck that wasnt it. It has not gotten any louder and it doesnt feel unsafe, can my axle be going out or is there a loose bearing or some crap like that. Cv boot looks fine also, any ideas people. thanks.
When you rotated the tires, did it start clicking on the back? Very occasionally I will hit a big bump with my car and one of the front tires will hit the splash guard and a little string of rubber will get peeled off. It starts to make a ticking sound because the piece of rubber keeps hitting the inside of the splash guard.
Hopefully it's something like this and not something more serious.

hummm? Mines the same I hear like a clicking sound coming from the passenger when I turn the wheel and its louder when I give the wheel all it has to the left and click..click..click. nothings touching. It just started a while back and now its getting louder and I barely turn the wheel it clicks. I had my axles replaced 6mths ago

thanks, by the sound of it, it should be a bearing. It has not gotten worse. It doesnt make any noise if i turn the wheel so hopefully that rules out axle. ill check bearings though thanks again.

Yea it wouldn't hurt to check the cv boot. Once dirt gets in there it can start clicking or making noise and stuff.
