Sup all? I'm new here. I've got a pretty good knowledge of mechanicing on Honda's & have been in the scene since 93'.


I have JUN cam's in my b16, it's been dyno'ed and the timing has been set-up to the max power with the mod's I have so far. But.. my vavles are starting to chatter. Normal chatter like when you need to adjust your valves.

Now for the question....

After installing aftermarket CAM's does your valve lash change from the stock setting of 1.1? (the 1.1 could be wrong) Or does your valve lash remain the same??

I lost the paper work for the JUN cam's and since then have forgotten which exact cam's I'm running.. I have alot on my plate... 2 builds going at once.. not including this car.

Changing out a cam typically requires a different lash on Nissan engines... it's in the JUN paperwork. Would imagine it's the same on a Honda.

 

true it's in the paper work.. but I no longer have it.. or remember the Cam type or spec's. So I'm stuck!
