1990 civic hatchback failed emissions test, its putting out too much NO2
No EGR valve, any ideas what could be causing this?

I have the same prob. i am thining of replacing the cat.

i had the same problem...but i have an egr..first i changed the cat...didnt reallie help....then he said my manifold was clogged up...changed that n it finnaly passed...

my bro replaced it for me...he had an old hf laying around n took out the manifold..cleaned it....made sure air flowed threw all the ports (with an air compresser)....slaped it on..whoopow..it worked...
