Default Tokiko shocks ok with 3" drop?

Hey what's up everybody? My friend has a 96 Civic Ex Coupe with GC coilovers and a 3" drop. I think his stock shocks have just about had it with a 3" drop. The front ones are starting to squeak when he goes over bumps and the ride is getting bad.
I have several questions to ask for him.

1) Are Tokiko non-adjustable shocks going to be fine for everyday street driving with a 3" drop?
2) Also. Where are some places on that he could get them on the net? Anybody have any suggestions? The only place I have seen them is Ground-Control.com

Thanks in advance.
-Mike

3" is just a lil excessive don't cha think?? at that rate, his handling will be ***, his tires will wear, his shocks (any you can buy) will wear out quicker, and he will put unnecissary strain on all of his steering components.

It's going to ride like *** anyway. That's life with a 3" drop. Expensive shocks or not, you still have no suspension travel.

yeah it will ride pretty bad at that drop, but if all you want is the look of being dumped, and shocks that will hold up. tokiko blues will be fine, not stiff enuoph in my opinion but they will work. if you want adjustment and are into tuning your suspension at all go with the koni yellows, the best you can buy in my opinion unless you go with a true coilover setup. just my $.02

They have them on Groupbuy.com for somewhere in the $450-500 range for a set.

What do you all mean by "too soft"? Do you mean it bounces too much? Too much like the stock shocks? Thanks

I have tokico blues...and not very impressed. I'd also vouch for koni yellows.
