Kyb Adj shocks
sup guys i've had the kyb adj shocks (with ground controls) for my EJ8 for about a year now and the ride is starting to get rougher and rougher. The ride quality is still bare able and i know its better than running stock shocks/kyb gr2s/tokico blues. In the past year i've put more than 50k on my these shocks, so i'm not too disappointed there going out. In the past month i got some new rims and slammed my car. i'm tucked in the front and close to a finger gap in the rear, but barely. I was wondering if anybody has rebuilt there shocks before and if it was worth the money? I got these shocks for $300 so if the price to rebuilding them is cheaper, i'm going to go that route. I know kyb has some sort of a warranty on these shocks, but if i'm correct your car can't be lowered any more than 1.5inches right? Thx

Re: Kyb Adj shocks (bmoua)
Call KYB and check if a local shop rebuilds shocks. There might be some autox folks in your area that would know. Give SCCA a call and they would recommend someone in your area or your could mail a shop your shocks.
I have the 4-way adjustable with GC #300 springs and the things are more than likely going on my setup are the bushings in the control arms But that will be another day.
