Turbocharge or Supercharge a 2004 honda civic SI
i am currently searching for a 2004 civic SI and it is gonna be used for everyday street driving to school and back and i was wondering if i should go with a supercharger or turbocharger and this car has to keep up with those older mustang LS and 93 eagle talon TSI so i was wondering wich setup is the best way to go thanks for your help
99% of the people here are going to tell you to go turbo. Look at the very first post on this forum. It's better to search than to ask questions here. There's a lot of information. Good luck!
A supercharger is nice because it's always there. The moment you hit the throttle you have boost. It's a lot less problematic since there are a lot less pieces involved. It's almost like a bolt on. The turbo will always create better gains as far as max power goes, but the s/c is supposed to be great for daily driving.

Agreed, everyone that I know that has had a blower on a Honda has gone turbo
Turbo is the way to go

well i would like to clear that i never had a superchager in my car, but rode in one last year and it was not what i wanted with my car as far as performance goes.

so does more problems, but whatever decision you go with, your going to end up with stuff breaking..even tho its a new car...so make sure you have $$$ and that your parents will be happy to support you with your car.
