man i really don't know but i will put my 2 cents in anyways. from what i have been told it won't do you any good unless you have the head done also cause it will still only let so much in. just what i have heard. try looking it up on http://www.theoldone.com

Thats if your getting crazy and the head becomes the restriction not the intake manifold. The little more air that a ported stock IM isn't going to test the limits of the heads flow capabilities.

Porting the stock intake manifold will help just like putting a Type-R IM on the car. So yes it will help somewhat in performance. The bored TB will help with the air flow too and will give better throttle response.

It will be noticeable and considering you do not want to do any internal mods its basically the only thing left to do. Just get the stock throttle body bored out. The machine work for those two things probably won't be all that much. So I would say yea its worth the money.

you might gain 1-2 horsepower for 550 bucks. buy my nitrous kit and run a small 50 shot and be happy for ever

i've seen dyno's of an extrude honed stock manifold, gained 3-5 ft-lbs of torque accross the board, ending up in about a 5whp gain at the end of the powerband.

i've yet to see an aftermarket throttle body do much at all,

removal of the electrical clips is easy, disconnecting the fuel rail gets a little messy with gas, so have some rags handy if you're going to do it, the top nuts to remove the manifold are easy, but the hard part comes with the bottom nuts.

I found it easiest to remove mine with a ratcheting wrench. or if you have the right sized extention, a normal ratchet can work.

if you do plan on doing this, i'll be happy to help you with any problems as you seem like someone who is in the same scenerio i am until i just said fuggit, im gonna hack up an old backpack and hide my nitrous bottle with that so they wont know the difference

the dh racing ported stocker w/ throttle body will be your best bet on making power. according to dynos, the dh racing combo makes mroe than any aftermarket manifold.
