Default battery relocation

need the best way yo td a rear batter relocation with out spending the money on a kit. need to know what to do about the ground wire, since it should touch the chassis then the motor. please help!!!!

keep your alternator and fuseblock and motor grounds the same...ground your battery somewhere in the spare tire well or inside one of the inner fenders where the bracing is nice a thick....just be sure to scrape off the paint. also 4 gauge wire or better is best. that charge has to travel ~10 feet and that means loss due to resistance. also, if you don't go with a kit...at least get a battery box or build one out of sheet metal.
