what do i need to do to raise my compression to about 13? im going all motor. anyone got any tips for me?

 

Get 13:1 pistons and make sure you have enough fuel and tune it well...CSpeed is running 13.4:1 compression in their B20VTEC I believe.

 

JE pistons can custom make it right?

 

depends on what you wanna go with. je, srp, wiseco, ross, etc.

what bore are you using? what cylinder head? let me know the specifics and we'll see what we can do.

for example.. take the endyn "mid profile" 81.5mm pistons
i've measured these pistons to have a dome cc of 4.2 or so.

taking this into consideration.. in a stock ITR motor..

with no machining to the head or deck surface, and a stock headgasdket, these pistons will give you 11.64:1

high dome piston is 7.4cc.. this gives you 12.49:1..
you can change these numbers by milling the head, decking the block, or using a thicker or thinner gasket.

if you want 13:1, i'd say use the high domes, and shave 20 thou off the head. you'll be in the area of 13:1 for sure.
