Default T3 turbo on B18A.. Mike K needs help.

Sorry for the dumb *** question, guys. But as you know.. I am right on when it comes to allmotor, but when it's boost... I'm a newbie dumbass.

Anyway, here's a potential setup. I was wondering about the following...
1) Will it be reliable and not blow up on a 100% internally stock motor?
2) How soon/late will it build up boost? What rpm will full boost be at?
3? Approximate dyno numbers?

Here it is...
100% STOCK B18A LS motor
AiResearch T3 (60 trim, .42/.48 w/ internal 8psi wg.. no boost controller)
Log style manifold, 2.5" downpipe and exhaust
Starion intercooler w/ 2.25" piping and DSM BOV
DSM 450cc injectors and Hondata tuning
NO cam gears, NO aftermarket internal mods, NO bs... just ghetto turbo style.

Any help would be appreciated BIG TIME! If anyone has this turbo, or something similar, please IM me. I would like some feedback.

1. Yes, if tuned correctly it will last as long as you can keep it out of the ditch

2. I know my t3/t4 comes on around 3K, so I'm guessing around 2500, full boost around 2900

3. 250hp/190 ft lbs, maybe better though. It all depends on your Hondata tuner, and how big your ***** are...

and all of this is assuming 93 octane ALWAYS. If you run mid-grade or less, all bets are off...

2800 to 5000 will rip. past that it will feel flat. At least get the .63 a/r turbine housing to try and get some topend. I would guess you will make some crazy midrange Tq too.

i just finished my install last night abotu 1am (pix posted later today). I have a B16A3 with a straight T3 60/48/60 trim. It starts to spool at 2500rpm, and is fully spooled at 4000 or so. I cant tell if it flattens out past 5K, cause my manual boost controller isnt working, and I have to let off cause the boost keeps going up. I accidently hit 15 lbs ont eh way home last night... holy crap that feels awesome. I honestly think this turbo is a lil too small for this app. With your smaller turbo, it think u mayne disapointed.

I think it will be reliable as long as you maintain it right and get it tuned correctly. I have a t3 63/60 on my b18b and I find boost builds at just under 3k rpm and full boost at about 4k. I have this on a 2.5"dp and stock cat to muffler. Yours will probably spool sooner, but it will drop off. I find mine drops off right near 7k rpm, which is almost perfect for me. IMO, I don't think you'll hit 250whp like stated above.
