Default OBD2 converted to OBD1...Do I still need both O2 sensors?

Like it says, I'm running a P28 ecu with a Hondata s200 on a 99 Si (going turbo).

I've got one O2 sensor in the cat, and another one that's hanging unless I get the fitting welded to the downpipe. I found one post in the archives that says that OBD1 cars only have one O2 sensor. So can I forget the one that comes before the cat?

Thanks in advance

make sure you get that hanging o2 sensor back into your downpipe. You don't need the one in the cat, but I would just leave it in there unless you wanna plug up the hole where it was.

take is out so it isn't being wasted. go to the hardware store and get a M18X1.50 hex head bolt and slap it in there.
