Can someone tell me what the horsepower is for the JDM H22a Automatic Engine.

I hear all sorts of Numbers.

A) 180HP
B) 190HP
C) 200HP

Any Help other then the search would be appreciated.

If I am not mistaken the auto has the same hp as the manual, 200.

Actually for the JDM version I'm almost positive its 180. Because when I was buying mine I was told to make sure the long block was mated to the original tranny b/c the auto only has 180hp(apparently some shops take the auto longblock w/180hp and sell it with and MT and say it has 190-200 b/c its an MT). That's what heard

No, actually they are not. I don't know about USDM but I know the JDM versions are different and that is what he posted about

Whats different about the automatic engine that would give it only 180hp? as opposed to 200hp like the manual.

Could it be the...

ECU
Compression
Cams

???

Can someone help out on this one?
