first things first, check if his engine is carbbed or fuel injected, if its injected the A6 swap will do nicely or even a ZC would be really nice, if its carbbed then have him throw away the car because the only thing he could easily and cheaply swap is another carbbed engine

1.3L=ev1 (carbed/my 1st honda motor )
1.5L=ew1 (carbed)
1.5L=ew3 (fuel inj)

These are one of the few honda motors (that i know of) that have more torque
than hp other than stock b20 b/z (i don't know which). That's some ****.

basicly we just want to get the thing back on the road. lil it ran like **** when we first picked it up we knew it needed a new engine so we were screwing around with it my buddy got it to fire up it sounded like crap then all of a sudden it went bang and started running very well. we were like wtf??? well I looked under it to find a very large pool of oil with a large piece of a rod laying on the ground. but it actually runs pretty good on the other 3 cylinders.

anyway back to the point we just want it on the road. he says that the engines form a late 80's integra sould be a direct drop in.

Is it?
