I really like the sound of the dunk. The sound is a very deep tone...that's all I can say about it. A couple of friends of mine have it and they say that it's bearable in daily driving. Maybe a tad louder than the GReddy EVO.

I had one on my car for a while, a long time ago. The tip, like you said, is HUGE. It's also really loud, but it is quite deep, not high-pitched or tinny. I loved the metallic-impregnated powder coated finish on the piping, too.

It'll sound ok. It'll especially sound quiet if you have a dented *** DC header in front of it
I say get a JDM 4-1 since you already have an exhaust.

Type C, i agree with you about the header, but the jdm 4-1 has a 2.5 collector and will connect to a 2.5 inlet and outlet carsound cat.........thats why i want the 60mm piping of the apex..........don't want to plug it up with a small exhaust.......

I noticed that the newer ones for Hondas only have a 4.5" tip...looks a lot better than the humongous 5" tip from a long time ago.

i had a dunk on my accord....and the muffler and the tip were HUGE, it was ******* loud and it was really boomy in the backseat, i remember first day i got it, wasnt broken in or anything, i was pulling out of a friends townhouse driveway in reverse...normal, tapped the gas pedal to get rolling and it immediately set off the alarm for the Lexus parked next door...i was like WOAH.....it sounds good, can be kinda farty sounding at times...but not most of the time....that exhaust was THE **** back in 96-97-98.....very high quality though as are all of the Apex'i products

It looks kinda ricey. But other than that it is a high quality system. I like APEXi products, they don't rust like 5Zigen.

Everyone says it's loud. Mine's not that loud. I have the one from a while back with the 130mm tip...a bit more than 5 inches. It's huge, but it's tucked away nicely. It gives a deep tone, not buzzy. And it's only loud when you really get on it. Most of the sound was in my intake, but now that's gone.
