Car is only reving to about 3k. first thing that came to my mind is that my computer is going bad on me. i turned off the car and started it and it continued. i drove to my shop and when i put the car on the left and opened the hood it stoped and stop reving only to 3k. what can cause this cuz im hella confused. i do have 3 ecu codes vtec solenoid, o2 sensor and iacv. can any of these things cause the rev limit.

 

iacv could be the problem

o2 sensor and Vtec selenoid wont cause this problem...

just so you know turning off the car and turing it back on doesnt reset the ECU ... unplug the positive battery cable and take out the ECU fuse and let it sit for like 10 min then plug it back in and start the car but dont rev it at all for like 5 min or so
