Default Getting rid of the rice.

After owning my GBP EJ1 Coupe for about a year now, I have done a bunch of useless modications to it. R34 bumper, Z3 fenders, smoked taillights, smoked corner peices, street glow. The only useful mods were APEXi N1 exhaust and ebay intake.

My buddy who also has a GBP Si hatch wants to do a trade with me my bumper and fenders for his OEM bumper and fenders (my stuff was totaled in an accident, so I dont have it anymoe).

I then plan to get a knock off Mugen or Spoon style lip in ABS, take off my blingin' 17" rims, and throw on some 15" bronze slips. ALong with putting in my stock taillights, getting the JDM yellow fog lights, and the JDM corners, oh god I cannot wait.

It doesn't matter what your car looks like if you're still ignorant and have the same mentality. I hope your next phase isn't to be a "hater" and start ragging on anyone who doesn't go the "JDM" or look-a-like route. Thats kind of hypocritical.

IMO, "ricers" are cooler than the JDM sheep. At least most ricers are friendly and easy to get along with. The sheep seem to always bitch and moan about anything that doesn't appeal to "their" tastes.
Sorry for the rant

p.s. It still doesn't look like you're doing any "useful" mods

Hmmmmm...

This is honda-tech, we don't care about appearance too much...

A clean functional car will look good without adding appearance parts!

Anyway, glad to hear you eat rice!

when i was in Japan there were a lot of body kits, lights, furry interiors and stuffed animals...stuff that people would consider "rice". it was more popular than i was comfortable with. but the clean cars that you see in the mags are rare in comparison.

i totally agree, most people seem to overlook the most important thing. whats the point of a car thats look nice and fast and it turns out to be a turtle. i'd rather have a car look stock or even a lil rough and put a nice heart in it to make it fast.
