I have a 95 sol, with the OEM seats. Driver seat has 156,000 miles on it, and now is starting to feel it's age. My passenger seat it still extremly comfrotable, since I am assuming that the first owner was a salesman because in the first 3 years, it had 100,000 miles on it, so I assume that the passsenger seat hasn't been used much.

Is there a way to switch the rails and seatbelt to the other side so I can sit in the passenger seat while driving?

 

You can switch the rails out, About the seat belt piece, just buy a tankaka harness and your good to go

Are the seat cushions interchangeable between the driver's and passenger's sides? My driver's seat's cushion is worn through and it kills me on long trips. I figure theres quite a few del sol passenger side seats that people have sitting around, I hope....

 

basilcy how I got the Idea, my freind with the BIGGEST POS mustang (not POS because its a Mustang, its a POS because its falling apart) the past owner was tipping the scales at 300 plus. Huge black man name Buba. Anyways the fatass broke the seat so that it would always be pretty much full recline, plus it would naturally do the ghetto lean. His pasenger seat wasn't bad. He switch the seats, and the only real diffrence is that the recline for both seats is kinda in a weird place but its better then what it was before.

you can not switch passenger to driver with just changing rails.....mounting points are different on both seats....you might be able to jsut swap lower rails but not the whole rail assembly.....

now you might be able to change out cushions but i don't know...never tried that..
