climate control and speedometer wont light up!

i have a 97 civic hb and the lights of my speedometer and climate control arent lighting up, anyone know why? this just hapened out of nowhere

no its not that, its completeley off but the otehr lights like the cel,signal lights, high beam lights are working fine,

your dimmer switch could be faulty. when I bought my civic, it came with indiglo guages and the wires were hacked into for the dimmer switch for power for the guages. After I took the guages out, my climate control and gauges wouldnt light up. It has to complete a circuit for everything to work, I soldered everything back together and I have lights again.
so basically, try a friends dimmer switch after you check all your fuses.

in my 2000 civic ex i have the same problem but only on one side. the passenger side seems to be out and the driver side looks ok. is it still a fuse of the light insde? any help or comments would be appreciated. thanx, ArT
