Default engine swap for H1 crx???

I'm looking at building an H1 crx this coming winter so that i'll be able to have a car to start the 2005 season.
The biggest question that i'm having is what motor to swap into the car. I've been hearing from a couple different people on what they think but i'm not really sure as to witch i should go with.
i know that there are a couple different motors out there that will give the car the power to be competitive but i just want to make sure that i have the best building block avail.
Any and all thoughts will be helpful.

The most important part of the car is your driving ability. Get that sorted and then worry about a powerful engine.

Exactly. I hope you have LOTS of track experience already if you are going to be entering H1!

assuming you have the dring capability, its really up to you. alot of people love the b18c (5) because you don't have to touch the bottom end and can just work the head and get around 220whp to 230whp. with other motor's (b series of course) you would need to do something about the bottom end but you would still have to use OEM honda parts on the bottom end
