My H22A w LSD just recently got a new flywheel and clutch package put on. Ever since, my Tranny is making noise when I let go of the Gas Pedal while in gear. The noise is most noticable while decelarating in 3rd & 4th gear.

Appreciate all advise / help / feedback.

hmmm sounds like maybe clutch alignment? or somehing to that nature.

Was the flywheel used, new or resurfaced?

 

The disc, clutch pressure plate, throw out bearing & flywheel were all new at the time of purchase.

 

I have the same set up. When I first did the swap that freaked me out too. All my stuff was new also, so after pulling everything apart and putting it back to gether, it turns out its just "chatter". Either clutch or LSD chatter! Hope that helps!

anyone looking for a m2b4 LSD trans for a h22
new 2nd and 3rd gear trans in perfect condition
need to get rid off asking $1,000.

 

my guess is that your throwout bearing is ratteling around and clanging off of the clutch fingers. my jeep is always making that noise, i finally cut a hole out of the bellhousing and watched it happen.
