I checked the oil level and topped it off, but that don't seem to be doing it. What could I possibly check? In the little owner's manual it says something with the oil pressure dropping? So what could I possibly check?

check your coolant overflow bottle, does it look like choco milkshake??, you may have broken your oil pump or headgasket you should be leaking everywhere by now. dont try to drive car until you determine what is going on.

 

you might want to connect an oil pressure gauge and start your engine, if you have no pressure turn off the engine immediately.

You may have to have the dealer do a code readout or did you try and reset the green reset button just under the dash to the right of the steering wheel? It is normally used to reset the check engine light after the dealer fixes the problem. But you just may have a oil problem. I think you hold the button down for a few seconds while the key is in the accesory position or something like that.

 

why dont you check the code. jump yr service connector and just count the number of times it reads and look at yr manual.

 

The oil light puts out codes like the check engine light?
