Nice ride. I need to get off my cushion and shoot some pics of my newly boosted setup. Do you autox your car or do you just like a firm ride? My coupe has 450fr/550rr springs on it. Cones fear me

I went with 8.8:1cr for 2 reason... so I can run more boost safer and I it lags alittle but once at 4500rpm+ it just pulls like a bicth and even at 340hp on the street im not spinning tire like crazy 1st-3rd, but i dont race people on the streets, just on the track and on the track im always at high rpm so it works out good

Yes I've seen that too and I've also seen them come back 4 months later with cracked sleeves. Hell goto englishtown on a friday night and look at the GTR(car crew) guys. Most all of them are on stock block gsrs in the low 11s high 10s They also blow up atleast 2 motors a season.

IMO the CR 8.8:1 is a little on the low side - more boost = more heat, so now you are getting more heat and more lag, not so good; furthermore with that set up and the more boost you plan to run, you will need at least 720cc RCs. Hey guy do it properly from the beginning.

1. Sleve the block - it is great insurance.
2. You need 9.0:1 CR on those pistons - forget lag before high boost, you will loose the race as soon as it begins.
3. Get RCs 720 or even bigger.
4. Get an Aeromotive external pump and filter
5. Get proper tuning - you have a great stand alone.
look for about 475-525 WHP.
6. Have fun safely ie at the track.
7. Try to get 16" wheels the rolling radius helps

Why do I need 475-525hp when I don't drag race
