Integra Trouble StartIng
kinda vague... fuel pump problems maybe or ignition problems. those are two good places to start, along with timing belt might be snapped, and you might not be making compression.
start with cap and rotor
then coil
then ignitor
then main relay (which controls the fuel pump and feed)
then fuela related components.
my guess is this if it turns over and you aren't getting a flutter out of the rpm needle then the ignitor and coil will need to be replaced. and if those need to be replaced you might as well spend the extra 20 bux on a cap and rotor for a full distributor tune up.
i had a similar problem. car wouldn't start. replaced cap and rotor because the cap was cracked. then it started about 5 more times and rana total of 50 miles. then it **** the bed. i replaced the coil(which is the next cheapest part inthe distributors that go bad) adn it still woudlnt turn over. so i pulled it all apart againand replaced the ignitor.
i bought a main relay, but had no need to replace it as the car runs like a champ now. I also went two steps colder with denso iridium plugs. for 126,xxx miles, the car has a lot more pull then it did at 100,xxx miles. the only thing that is still onthe car that has not been replaced on the ignition side of things was the backend of the distibutor and the orignial plug wires.
always start with ignition then go to fuel. more than likely it is ignition related.
oh and since it has been really humid in colorado i have seen about 2-5 tegs a week in the dealership getting a distributor tune- cap, rotor, ignitor, coil . . . .
good luck
