o2 sensor removal from stock 99 ls cat?
I'm installing a new jdm itr header, hi flow cat, and apexi rs cat back exahust on my 99 ls integra. i'm running into trouble in removing the o2 sensor from the cat. I cannot remove the o2 sensor off the car because it is wired in. Only thing i can think of so that I can man handle the sensor is to actually cut the wires off and then resolder them back on. Any other suggestions before I do this?

buy the socket for a few dollars that has a slit to allow you to go around the wires.
or mark the wires so you know where they go, cut them and re wire them.

cool, sounds good. but what about the cat, its heat shield are covering the nut part of the o2 sensor and i can't get in. does the tool allow it to go weg through somehow or do i actually have to remove the heat shields to do it? If so I think i'm better off cuting the sucker down then to get the leverage.
