well i think it should be a straight swap but some people say that you have to so some banging on the frame.... but if i'm wrong correct me...
so u have a d series in there that is an auto? i didnt realize they made an auto b16 tranny, but u could always go for an auto ls tranny or something. eithe way, should bolt in if its already auto.

you can do that, but if you want to have better use of hte power, id try to use a manual, maybe you have a buddy that could teach you, the manual swap wouldn't be too bad besides the clutch and all. if you go into the FAQ up top and they tell AT to MT conversions. Good luck with the swap tho.

yeah I heard of auto b16s. I don't know if it's going to be easy to put in a b series into car that had auto eg d series. I don't know if they made a manual tranny conversion mount for b series, they do have it for d series. So if they don't make those mounts you will have to get a manual tranny mount bracket of the manual car and weld it on in place of the auto one. Seriously though it's not worth swapping an auto b series, if you are going to get your hands dirty do it right the first time.
i'd do the manual conversion.
auto b16's had less aggressive cams (intake, i think?..**** i might be wrong).
rev limit is 7.8
man i might be off with my specs...someone fill in. i know auto b16's are slower, i've driven both kinds in a DA.
