Well I know of a ef hatch minus motor on it's way over here that'll arrive on the east coast in a container w/lots of other stuff. I'd think the company is pretty sure it will make it through customs, but if you don't live in California how'd you go about legalizing one? I know it's "illegal" or whatever, but so is speeding, would switching the VIN be a good or bad idea, I mean it's an old car after all. I know in Canada if it's older than 15 years old they don't care what it is.

BTW: Car minus motor would run me about 4k for it.

 

getting the car legal all depends on where you live because of emissions ect. like where I live is easy no emm. just check the dmv for what you will need to register a car that is imported usually pretty easy

 

Yeah Ga, bah, what's emissions? I guess if I'm gonna go thru w/it I wanna do it legally, but if it requires a VIN from my current car to the RHD one, oh well, down w/the civic. there's a couple RHD's in town lurkin in the shadows, and some more on the way. I dunno man that's weird, I just saw a Skyline at a local independent car dealer in Monterey Park down the street from VIS.
