Default stock Y8 with mitsu turbo....

im thinking of boosting my Y8 in my hatch with a mitsu turbo (14b, t25, t28) etc... i wanna keep the cost down to a minimum on the whole setup i was thinking of a log mani, dsm smic, dsm 450's, DSM bov and most likely run uberdata or the hack... i want to be making about 170 - 200 hp to the wheels... does this sound like a reasonable setup and can imake that much power reliably? if not how much power would i be making at around 9- 10 psi?

yes, your estimates are right. It might make your life easier to look for a used greddy turbo kit. The turbo is good to nearly 280whp (new record set recently) and you get to keep a/c. I got a used kit for $900.

yea i was thinking bout the greddy kit but i can piece together a kit with an IC and BOV for cheaper. and run better management than the blue box or e manage... im trying to spend as little money as possible because im not planning on having my car too long and just wanna have some fun with it without getting to crazy with boost... its either that or im spraying it

so which one of the turbos would be best? 14b, t25, or t28

I have the 14b on my jdmz6 Ilove it, but most of the 14b turbos in junkyards are going to need a rebuild , mine was rebuilt and runs perfect. I now have well over 1500 in my turbo setup, so you decide.
