I just got a JDM 2nd gen B16 that i am putting into a 95 CX, and i wanted to know if i use the wiring harness that came with the b16, or do i have to use the harness from my CX's original motor...

if the engine is JDM you cant use the harness.. just use the Dseries and wire for vtec, knock and IAC

 

wait i dont think you have to wire for IAC bc its obd1 but im sure u have to wire for vtec and knock

 

Did the 95 CX have the sohc vtec?

I think with the b16 you can use a 94-95 gsr engine harness and if your car is already wired for vtec then it should be plug and play. If the car is not wired then you would have to run them.

 

No my civic is non-vtec, anyway i already hooked up my CX's original harness to the B16, I have now started to wire in the VTEC, which brings me to my next question, what kind of pins do i need to plug the vtec wires into the ECU the ones i am using are too big to plug into the ECU harness, any suggestions?

 

i think radio shcak might have them

 

Do you know excatly which pins they are, or maybe the size?
