stupid question but do i have to take off my bumper to install this? the instruction says i do, is there anyways to do it without takin it off? 98+ itr lip btw

Im not sure what year your exactly talking about but I know my 92 bumper i got the JDMSHIT itr style lip and i just jacked the car up and bolted it on...

 

get 2 people one on each side and pulled it over the front.. my friend though his lip did not fit his car either but then when he took it to theplace 2 guys just put it on.. i dont think u ever need to take off the bumper to put on a lip seeing how it just bolts on

 

I did mine myself and it fit perfectly. Its about 6 screws.

 

I imagine that it'd be harder to do it with the bumper off unless you had a way to hold it in place. Just play around with it until you get it to fit right. It's a pretty snug fit to don't be afraid to tug on the edges of the lip if you need to.

 

For a 98+ lip, it's only 8 bolts underneath the car and one screw on each end. I only used the 6 bolts and the two screws on the ends. It held up fine. The other two holes require drilling and I didn't want to do that. Oh yeah, you don't have to take the bumper off either.

 

you def dont have to take the bumper off. there are spots where it gets screwed into. its an easy install.

 

thanks u guys, i took a look under the car and it was a piece of cake, installed it in 15 min....just had to ran out and bought some bolts, nuts, and washers
