I have had a Spoon Sports radiator cap on my all stock 91 civic for a month or so. At normal operating temperature the sticker/emblem on the top moves a bit. When cool, the sticker/emblem is raised around the edges. Is this supposed to happen? Surely not. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it possible mine is just a bad one?? Also, I keep seeing posts about the Honda radiator cap pressure rating is 1.1bar. My OEM cap was 0.9bar, and the new Spoon is 1.35bar.

1.1 or 0.9 OEM??

Spoon is 1.35 bar.

The Spoon sticker on my spoon cap fell off, the glue on them does not hold up well to the heat I guess. I just took some 3M sticky adhesive and sprayed it with adhesive and put it back on. It was fine after that.

 

What exact kind of adhesive did you use? Aerosol spray? Where did you get it. If it works for you, I will do the same.

 

3M spray adhesive from a hardware store.

 

Did you spray the sticker or the cap? Did it make a mess?
