Default Question about Tie Bars

Are front/rear tie bars necessary if you already have front/rear upper strut bars? lets say I had a stock type R front strut bar, and a rear mugen strut bar, would tie bars benefit the handling of my R? and if they do, what brands do you guys recommend? spoon? any help appreciated. thanks.

Default Re: Question about Tie Bars (JDM_Type-R)

aftermarket lower tiebars do help. Spoon makes good tie bars.
id recommend going here, http://superhonda.org/board/forumdis...d91&forumid=20
if you have future questions regarding suspension.

Keep the stock itr front strut bar, sell all other aftermarket bars you've added and put a rollbar in your car for a difference you can feel. People who say they can really tell a difference with tie bars are like princesses who can feel the pea.
