Yesterday my accessory lights would not come on with the 2nd position, only if you turn it a little more would it come on. Today my ignition killed over and im in the middle of nowhere with no phone no money, but I managed to get 75c for a phone call. Wish it was 25c then its not that bad bumming change. Anyways upon inspection the ignition contacts are burnt. With all the accesories im running is the igition safe from the extra load?>

Anyone put some kind of a regulator or something for all the tons of accessories they have to prevent burning the switch?

So you're talking about the ignition switch in the steering column? I was wondering what contacts you were talking about - coil, ignitor. ????

People use them all the time to avoid pulling big current thru the switch.
