hey, i posted something like this awhile ago, but i have a 97 civic ex, and for some reason, sometimes... my engine sputters and shudders, and it doesnt matter what gear i'm in.... mostly second, but it happens in the other gears too, it usually happens when im accelerating-- even if im not accelerating that fast. also, i've felt it shudder a quick second or two when i'm at a consistant speed. so i picked up my haynes manual and looked it up in the trouble shooting... and it says either an air leak in the intake manifold, a clogged fuel filter, something wrong with the fuel injectors, or incorrect ignition timing... has anyone has this problem?!
