I was sitting at a light the other day and another 5th gen, pulled up next to me. I was looking, and his seats were leather. Mine are that weird cloth with that little bit of orange spots, its weird man. Just wondering if leather was an option.

 

yeah. they cost a lot tho.

 

at least in canada they were standard on the Type-SH and SE models I thought..

My SH has a leather shift ****, ooooohhhhh.

 

SH had leather standard in the US some years... I remember going to the dealership and seeing all the SHs having leather seats.

dude, those seats are in very good condition. They are dirty, but I can only see one spot of wear, and that's where it always gets worn. you can clean that up easily with some polish or a little scuff cover.

$250 is nice and cheap for a full set of leathers.

 

the dealer told me leather seats were a factory install, had to special order em..

 

Mines a 4th gen but just wanted to share...

Walking in the salvage yard, one a nice sunny day...
I spotted a clean 96 with significant front damage, but from the front tires back, perfect.
As I opened the door... waalaa PERFECT BLACK LEATHER!
I hauled *** straight up to the office!!
EVERYTHING... front and back side panels, even the 6x9 bracket between the back seats...
$600 bucks!
