My car is sitting outside soaking up the sun right now. I can feel the sun slowly eating up my beautiful paint, and it hurts me...

seriously though, I really want to cover my car up back up but my car cover is quite filthy, and I'm not talking about just the outside. The cover has been on it a few times when it wasn't super clean and a lot of dirt, insects, and other misc. crap has rubbed off on the inside of the car cover. I thought I had some washing instructions for the car cover but I can't seem to find them. How would you guys recommend I go about washing my car cover. It is an OEM Acura Integra car cover btw if that makes a difference.

i have a civic car cover and in the directions it says you can wash in cold water, does not say anthing about putting it a dryer, so i would think air dry??

 

thats a good site but I couldn't find anything particularly useful. I am assuming that you can probably just wash it in cold water but I just wanted to get some more feedback from other integra and R owners.

 

Soak the cover in Tide detergent and wash with the hose. Let it air dry and you have yourself a clean cover.

 

Try going to your local laundromat (sp?) and tossing it in the biggest washer they have. The one near my house has a few industrial sized machines that can easily wash 2 sleeping bags. I'm guessing that should be big enough for a car cover.
