newbie...questions about GSR's
Hi, im new to these forums and to imports in general. Right now i own a 2001 mustang gt, which isnt payed off for yet. My parents have been bugging me lately how the mustang is costing too much for insurance and monthly payments. Anyway im thinking about selling my car and buying a integra gsr. First off what do they run stock, how easy is it to mod and do mods cost alot for integras. Also what would i have to do to make a gsr run mid 13's and how much does a good turbo kit cost.
If insurance is a issue I don't think a Integra GSR will lower your insurance it might even go up seeing as how 6-7 of the top 10 stolen cars of 03 were different year Integras. GSRs are suppose to run about 15 in the quarter mile I believe.

Liability with a GSR is a unwise thing. Theres a good chance your car might get stolen and I really wouldn't want to chance that.

i own a GSR and i love it, i picked up my 98 teg with 80k miles for 7 grand. stock they run 15.5, all depending on the driver though, i never ran my car stock, but when i was at the strip i let my friend drive it down the track once, and he ran a 15.9, and i ran a 15.0 and 14.7. what are your goals? NA, FI? i just recently boosted my car and i LOVE it, i peiced together my own kit for around 1900, and people on here agree that it is a pretty good setup for the money i spent. they are easy to mod, you can buy a shitload of bolt ons, like i did when i knew nothing about my integra and get no HP gains, or u can do it the right way and buy parts that work with each other and see a difference. if i were you, i would boost it
i boost 6psi on a GSR with 110K on it and its running strong, good fuel and engine management! all i need to do now is tune. aside from boost all motor is a pain the hiney. cost alot in the end, and IMO its not as fun. boost feels amazing. even with a full car

yea if i can find an integra for about 8-9 grand i should have another $2-3000 for mods, i definetely wanna go boosted. I wanna make sure its running around the same times my stang did, which was mid 13's.

I thought lots of Hondas get stolen in Jersey. There are plenty of aftermarket parts for the GSR. Yes, GSRs can run 13's with some money.
