Default Remote DVD installation Question

Ok, I want to get this DVD player for my car:
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-d...arch=

It says it has a wiring harness and thress wires, acc, bat and ground. I am no good at wiring anything, how hard is this to do? Can I just tap into the wires with splice taps? Does the the bat wire have to be hooked up to the car's battery? Thanks for any help, I'm trying to learn as much as possbile about electrical wiring in my car. Thanks!

That unit will be easy to install.. if your planning to use splice taps, to tap into the power from your car radio i dont think it will cause any problems.. just wanted to also mention since your not going for a high end unit.. you can get something simaliar to that unit but with a tv tuner built in for about the same price.. check ebay.
PM me if you need anymore help
