Window Regulator
I am replacing my window regulator on the drivers side of my 96 accord sedan. I have all the bolts off of the motor and the slide but I cant seem to get the second bold off of the actual part taht connects to the window inside the door frame. The dealership claims a special tool is needed but I doubt it HAS to be done that way. Please help me.....
they are all 10mm bolts, i have taken mine off a few times on my 5th gen sedan. there is no special tool needed, i think they are just trying to get you to pay them to put it in. just take the 6 bolts out that bolt the regulator to the door, then the two that bolt the window to the slider assembly (those are kinda tight). then you have to kinda teeter totter the glass out of there. be sure not to drop it.
ok thanks man, you know what i mean though, there are the bolts outside of the frame and then the 2 that are inside that are actually on the glass itself, i only have the one bolt off because its the easiest to get to, do i just need to keep playing with the other one to get it off?
