mini me
i did the mini me swap according to http://crx.honda-perf.org/arti....html
i used a z6 head w/ an a6 block, and stayed obd0 w/ the a6 dizzy. i got everything on and mounted the dizzy upside down so i could hold it on there w/ 2 bolts. went to crank it and nothing happened. the motor didn't even try to turn, i'm guessing no spark. after replacing the dizzy cap and rotor, i tried again. still nothing. then i turned the dizzy back how it's supposed to be and the motor tried to start, but would not. tried turning it over a couple times and it backfired, but wouldn't start. i don't kno what the problem could be. somebody please help, i need my car back on the road!

Could you hear the starter cranking? You could have unpluged the wire that is connected to it.
Even if there is a problem with the dizzy you should hear the starter craking.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by mugenwannabe »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">i did the mini me swap according to http://crx.honda-perf.org/arti....html

when i had the dizzy upside down, nothing happened. then when i turned it back how it's supposed to be, i heard the starter trying to turn the engine, but it wouldn't run. while i was doing this, the only plugs i touched were on the dizzy. those 2 plugs, one has 2 wires and the other was 7 on it.

it is deffinitly your timming put the dizzy back the way you had it the first time and get the timming close somewhere in the middle your starter not working is a bad ground some where check over all bolts and where ever wires go that you removed and it should turn over but may not start what I did was blow compressed air up the intake tube and had my dad crank the car over for a lil bit and it started and ran good and started everytime after hope this helps if you have no compessed air try push starting it
