About to WED a 4dr 1993 1.8 Import, HELP needed
I found a beautiful example of a 1993 4dr Integra, cos it was imported I am unsure if it is a 180hp engine and what performance that then entails?
The info from the engine are below mentioned. It is a
1.8 1797cc DOHC VTEC
not the B18C1 its the B18C
What does that mean for:
0-60? = 7.1?
hp? = 170 or 180hp
Further techs would be awesome.
Is it the SiTec from Japan done in 1993.7?

The label is mostly Japanese however have got the following:- B18C 1797cc (1005994) 750RPM (MT), 750RPM (AT), 16/750 BTDC (RPM MT), 16/750 (RPM AT), 100PPM. The Engine is marked DOHC VTEC.

PS being stuck on this merry Island, England, UK, there are few places to find info on how to tweak the engine ie a good tune-up what do you recommend?

you have a B18C which is the same as the B18C1 in the states. if it only says b18c means the car was from japan and there they do not have the designation C1 stamped on the block like they do in the states
it is the 170hp rated engine

I saw a 1994 with some extra goodies thinking of getting that instead..! Sweet car, and yes it is Japan imported too...to the UK

i thought the B18C was the JDM ITR engine? like an equivelent to the B18C5 but minus the 5, and with a tad more power. or is it different because of the year? just a thought.

you have a jdm gsr motor
93 was the first year the 3rd gen integras came out
and the jdm engine is rated at 180 hp and not 170hp with 10.6 compression and not 10.0

japan did not use numpers on there engine coad
bother their gsr and itr motors were stamped b18c. even thouse there different motors they have the same engine coad
same goes for the first gen b16 (160hp 10.2 cr ) and the sir2 b16 (170hp 10.4cr)
they were both just stamped b16a
