well, first off you know you will be going from an OBD0 to OBD2. There is a lot you need to know about OBD2 before taking on this project unless you are not going to use this as a daily driver. But with the donor car readily available you should get as much smog stuff from the car as possible.

Its not worth it man, I looked into it. TO much money and you dont seem to have the lsightest knowledge (no offence) on all the swaps/combinations and custom fabrication your going to have

If the motor was given to you for free like you says. Just sell it if it has low miles. Pick up a B series and throw some mods at it.

Keep It Simple Stupid

(thanks mom)

no offense taken... but my whole thing is that i want an h22 in my crx so i can basicly run low 13's stock ... and go from their.... i dont want a B series cause i already got a gsr and i dont like it in low rpms so i rather go bigger and stronger... i know their is custom stuff to be made but im going to take it to someone that knows how to do the swap... i just want to know what exactly to get and how much... also from where... thanx though...

Dont know what youve heard but low 13's stock? With stock H22 gearing, not gonna happen. Maybe if you looked into mating a B series tranny up to it you might see mid 13's.

A b16 in an 88HF can run a high 13 stock. Power to weight

Read 2Point2 's H22 thread, like 14 pages long, lots of info and goes through the entire process as well as CharleyCrx but hes got a turbo H22

And if youve already managed to get a GSR in there, why bother. If youve got the money to spend, rebuild the gsr and have a new motor. Slap a JRSC with some head work on and run 12's

You should take W O T advice, if you dont know how to convert a auto tranny to a 5 speed then I dont think you should do this swap. If you are going to do this swap either have someone do it or do a B series on the H series block, that makes the swap liek dropping a B series into the CRX. Hope this helps. I have a H22 CRX and it was a pretty easy swap. Check sig more info on it.

I sell the plates for 550, or you can attempt to make one. All you do is put the plate on and makes the swap 100 times easier, you dont have to deal with shift cables, hydro tranny, cutting the rear crossmember. The list goes on and on. Hope this helps

If you figure it will be too hard or too much money, You could just sell it as swap. I bet there is someone out there with an Autostick that has gone bad or an H22 that is bad. Anyway, good luck whatever you do.

The plate mounts to the H series block, then you bolt it onto the B series tranny.

As for the list, it all depends on what way you want to go. H series tranny or B series tranny.
