Hey guys i just got a c pillar bar and im wondering on how much and where do i have to cut is there anyone that has a diagram on a how to?

You shouldn't have to cut anything, it should bolt-on to the rear seatbelt section and even provide spacers to keep the seat-belts there. Who made the C-Pillar bar your using?

 

might have to cut if you own an eg right???

i know my ek i didnt have to cut

 

ya i have a eg hatch so i think i have to cut since thats what i read when i did a search

 

Yes, for a 92-95 Civic, you have to cut the plastic panel to get to the seat belt anchors. One way to do this is to remove the panel just enough to line up the back of the panel with the seat belt bolt. Use a scribe to mark where the hole should go, remove the panel and drill a clean circle. doesn't have to be very big, since the C pillar tips are thin.

Let's say you're standing behind the car with the hatch open. You want to almost completely remove the panel that goes arond the rear seatbelt. You'll have to remove the hatch shocks in order to do this, so a friend might be a good idea to hold the window open. When you peel back the panel, you can see where the rear seat belt bolts into the chasis. Mark a spot on the back of the panel that corresponds to the seat belt bolt. Mark it well. Then remove that plastic panel completely, and drill or Dremel a nice hole to allow the C pillar bar to go through. Put the panel back on, and bolt it up.

seriously, that c-pillow bar is something i regret to install.. sure it looks good and might have some help in handling (i believe use a B-C pillow bar is way more efficient, a bar hold both B and C pillow, not sure its exact name)

the bad thing of a c pillow bar .. is it limited your rear vision. oh well. it occationally being my cloth hanger now

oh yeah, mine is made from CF.. looks bling..

Thats what i did. Just gutt the car and you wont have to cut anything.
