if it wasnt for my airhorn one time the people who cut my alarm siren wouldve gotten away with my alarm going off while they took their time and worked.
it got my attention another time when a black kid was sitting in my car and another about to open my hood. luckily i worked at the door so i was able to run out. they ran into a minivan and left.

Maybe the ones he sells, a good one will run 2 or 3 min. loud and another 1 or 2 min. getting quieter, one with an offboard batt. , depends on the batt.

depends on what you get, i have noticed that the cheap stand alone back up battery sirens with the key on them last longer than say dei's back up battery system
dei's battery has to run teh whole alarm flashing lights and all, while the back up battery siren just runs teh siren alone making noise the way it works is whne the car loses power (battery disconnected) its just goes off till it dies
hope this helps
