My heat sheild is rattling and making lots of noise part of it has already been taken off. how can i take it off or should it be repaired??????

 

see about getting it repaired. what part did you take off? the shield over the cat?

 

I took off a part not near the cat but the sheet metal near the screws covering the cat rusted and according to acura it would be like $250 to get it replaced
what would happen if i just took the heat shield off

 

Take it off nothings is going to happen. It may increase in-cab temperatures but by so little you wont notice.
