Default ITB's in my ITR what are your thoughts

I came across a set of TWM ITB's. I got an integra type R motor with civic type R pistions. I have skunk stage one cams and SMSP headers with a mugen twin loop exhuast. Other than that there arent any other mods on it. My questions is if i put on the itbs will i be fine with RC310 Injectors or will i need some 440's? also how is the daily drivability on these? Also i have a hondata s200 with a data loger. will i have to up grade to something like a FAST to make it run correctly? thanks in advance your input is greatly appreciated

yes the 310 injectors should be fine, looking at the power figure u should be looking at, around 230ish to 240 to the flywheel ur injector duty cycle should be around 75%- 80% and most people reccomend changing injectors when duty cycle is around 85%. so ur all good there. as for the hondata, no problems there neither, hondata can handle itb's. but as for daily drivability, thats goin out of the window. cos daily drivin involves partial throttle drivin. itb's are worst at partial throttle. hope that helps.

IF YOU PLAN TO PORT YOUR HEAD OR RUN BIGGER CAMS...I WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST UPGRADING FUEL PUMP...AND AS FAR AS 310 INJECTORS...THEY ARE OK FOR WHAT YOU HAVE NOW BUT BIGGER CAMS AND A PNP WILL MAKE THEM TOO SMALL FOR YOUR CAR...YOUR GONNA HAVE TO GO TO 550CC. AS FOR THE ITB'S...IT'S A GREAT UPGRADE BUT WITH HONDATA YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE A VACUME DISTRIBUTION BLOCK OF SOME TYPE BECAUSE HONDATA IS TUNED BY MAP...HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL...

i run mine daily and never have problems. ia m running aem ems though.. i suggest this for you.

550 cc injectors is way to big for all motor. i have a fully built h22 with big cams and headwork, i am only running 440cc p&h injectors. i am at 70-75% duty cycle.

440cc is cool but 550cc is not way to big...don't compare an H series to a B series

you're right that it isn't way too big but it doesn't matter if it's a H or B series.

fuel is dependant upon power output.

I dont think that the Mugen twin loop is killing the header. The twin loop flows really well. Anyone else agree with me&gt;?

Thats a very healthy estimate. And the twin loop doesn't give very much flow.

The Mugen B pipe, prior to the resonator, is 54.5mm (2.146") OD, which is smaller than the stock ITR after its bottle neck. The resonator is about 125mm OD. The outlet tubing from the resonator is 60.5mm OD. The twin loop muffler tubing is also 60.5mm. </TD></TR></TABLE>

Short answer, NO.
