i've bought a itr cd player and i dont' have the code. im missin the last 3 digit off the serial #. is there a way of getting the code?

 

U may have to contact acura, but I think you have to send them the radio but I could be way off

 

I think you might need the vin# of the vehicle the radio came from

 

i can't contact lost contact of the guy that i bought ti from. so there isn't a way to get teh code w/out the serial #?

There shouldn't be.

But thieves have been known to beat the law before.

 

hehe... you need a hookup from Acura to get the code... or all you have to do is have the guy show his registration to the dealer, give them the Ref# off the deck and they can give him the code for the CD player.

It has nothing to do with the VIN, etc, just need to show proof of ownership to the dealer and they will give you the code from the REF#.

They can't get you the code without the serial number, nor can they give you the code if you do not have proof of ownership of the car.
