Default Injen or AEM?

Hey everyone. I'm going to get a short ram intake for my 93 Integra RS. I've done some research and I've narrowed it down to getting AEM or INjen. Can anyone with these kinds of SAI tell me about their experiences with it so that I can narrow it down to one. Pros and Cons of each if you can. Right now I'm leaning more towards INjen SAI. I know I'm just buying a brand but I want the sticker that says its legal so that I'm safe and I'm not getting any from Ebay. And also which of the two would be cheaper. Thank you for your time and thoughts.

i stand by AEM. and there isn't that much of a difference at all with the two. it's just preference. power wise they make about the same.

you could save yourself some money and buy an ebay SRI and just get yourself a good quality air filter

yup, and some pro's and con's of the 2..

INJEN:

pro- if you buy the SRI system, you have the option to buy a extra pipe later down the road to make a CAI.. very nice to have that option.. and u can make it CAI when you go to the track, or on a hot day, or when it rains, you can take it off and use the SRI system, if you wanna keep changing them out

con- no bypass valve, which is good with a CAI
and comes with C.A.R.B sticker, if you need it

AEM:

pro- another very good brand of intake, comes in both SRI or CAI, but you gota pick one or the other.. cant have both like the INJEN system (correct me if im wrong)

con- not sure about the C.A.R.B sticker on it (correct me if im wrong). and the SRI/CAI swap thing.. (again, correct me if im wrong)..

not sure on the price of both, but im sure you can get a good deal if you look.

and use a K&N filter too

The AEM CAI (not v2) does have both the capability of being a SRI/CAI, if you get the air bypass valve (you would have to cut the pipe in order to fit it on). If you cut the piping in the right location to fit on the bypass, you could also take the lower pipe off and use the top pipe as a SRI. Also, the AEM CAI does come with a CARB sticker as well.

thanx for clearing that up for me bro..

well there you go, it doesnt matter which one you buy, if its really wet where you live, then i'd get the AEM because of the bypass valve

if you live in vegas, wouldn't there be no need for a bypass valve? Hardly floods there right? I personally stand by Injen all the way. Great product, in-house dyno, awesome customer service... INJEN

Had the AEM SRI and it was nice, but then i got a injen CAI and i really liked the injen over the AEM, now i have the new black CAI. so my vote would be for the injen.

Save yourself the trouble buy a cai off ebay and buy the aem bypass vavle its like thirty bucks on there. I use to get aem and injen i was spending 180 on intake which barely gives you any hosres. Trust me thats money towards a real mod like cams. Intake is intake and it all goes up the same pipe trust me.
Oh but if i must choose it would be injen.
