abs light came on... one last try....
ok i noe there's like 54,321 topics posted about this, but i seriously could use some help...
couple of days ago my abs light came on while the car was warming up, like 5 minutes into the car started.. the day after it was fine, abs light didnt' come on at all. but since then it has been coming on a couple of minutes after the car started every single time now.
i dont' know if it has anything to do with the weather, but the temperature dropped belowed 0 that night when the abs light first came on.
i searched through all the treads here, did everything as advised: checked break fluid level, reset ecu, pull abs fuse and put it back in, push the button on the dash... still no help =T anything else i can do before i have to bring it into the dealer?
any help would be appreciated... thanks in advance.

Did you check the fluid level in the ABS unit and not the master cylinder?
You have a blue 2 pin connector underneath the glove box the will display ABS trouble codes when the connector pins are jumped together.. this would be a good starting point.. trouble code will be indicated by the flashing ABS light....

where is the ABS unit fluid level? I'm sorry but I can't find it in the manual....

If the parking brake was up, even just one click, your ABS will disable after you drive it for a little bit. Sorry if you already know this, but sometimes it's the silly stuff, not a crazy complicated ABS faliure thing
good luck!
Oh wait, I forgot this wasn't the integra forum
sorry

My friend has a '95 Accord EX auto. ABS light came on. Turned out to be a busted pump, the thing under the hood with all the brake lines going in and out of it. Not cheap to replace...
Does your ABS still work?

i don't know if it still works... should i test it out in a parking lot? i looked through my hayne's manual for troubleshooting it, turns out they don't cover ABS systems... =T
Yeah, just go test it out. It'll be pretty obvious if it's working or not. Go fast, floor the brake pedal. If it chatters, ABS is ok. If your wheels lock and you skid, your ABS is gone.
You're looking at about $300 for a used or refurb part and a couple hours of labor. The new part costs near $1000. Or you can just flip the bird to ABS and drive without ABS like everyone used to in the '80s.
