when i was driving the car it sounds like its bouncing off the limiter and won't rev past 2500 it has a hesitation at 1000 too. don't no wahst causing it i'm throwing cel's for vtec and Evap purge solenoid could any of those be it I changed the spark plugs and its still doing the same ****. any help appreciated

 

you add anything to the car recently? kind sounds like the timing is off

 

no i haven't added anything It feels like its hitting the rev limiter at 2500

 

how is it idling?
are you throwing a cel?

sounds like a tps. computer thinks the throttle body is closed and isnt giving you fuel since the computer is thinking the throttle isnt open not giving you enough fuel and making it not rev past 2500.

 

it sounds like you're in "limp mode"

 

I called a shop in queens new york and thy told me i was running in limp mode too, I'm throwing a cel but the light's been on and it was running fine for months vtec isn't connected and i'm idling fine the TPS is connected too could it be evap purge?

 

why are you running a motor that is not even all completed? first do everything to the motor, like wiring up vtec, checking time, and fixing what the codes throw.
