B16A stroker "kit" ???
Ok, I have a B16A that I'm considering stroking 1.8 or 1.9 liters. I know the B16A has a shorter deck height than the B18C so I can't add a B18C crank, so I've been told. I don't know much about stroker kits, that's why I'm asking on here mainly the people who have used them. I was told that companies like Crower and Endyn base their stroker kits on the LS Integra 89mm crank. Is this true? I was also told by someone that I can use the 89mm crank out of an Integra LS and modify my rods in order to stroke my motor. Is this also true? This sounds pretty good to me considering i have a spare B18A block in my garage. Also, I was told that if I stroke my motor, the piston squirters gotta come out. I dunno if i wanna do that, considering that if Honda put them there, they are there for a reason. Basically what would you guys recommend? Should I stroke my motor? In the end I wanna turbo charge my engine so someone told me not to even bother with stroking the motor because once I turbocharge it, the torque figures would increase and I won't matter whether its stroked or not....what do you guys think?
No replacement for displacement? Or is it a load of crap???

you have a few options...
you can make ur engine 1.7 with b17a crank and rods and use off the shelf pistons
you can make ur engine same displacement as a gsr using gsr crank and rods and custom STROKER PISTONS.
you can also use an ls crank but the stroker pistons for the ls crank are pretty shitty design and require you to either get custom rods or machien ur stock ones. this uses b16 rods.

i think it was ge's sales rep who told me that they nolonger will do deck plates. i know crower is good for stroker kits. my friend runs a 2.0L b18a1 with stock bore. all crower internals.
